This single cask release was matured in a Manzanilla hogshead cask sourced from the coastal warehouses of Miguel Martín in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. A total of 335 bottles were produced.
Manzanilla, a lighter coastal style of dry sherry, gives the whisky freshness and a subtle saline character. As a result, we can expect a brighter and more delicate flavour profile compared to the richer notes typically associated with PX or Oloroso maturation.

While the Ardgowan Single Malt continues to mature in casks for several more years, whisky maker Laura Davies is crafting the Clydebuilt blended malts with the same care and expertise.
Whiskies matured in the finest quality casks are housed at the Ardgowan distillery, where every stage of their development is closely monitored.
