Anchorsmith is the penultimate release of the award-winning Clydebuilt Collection – a unique limited-edition blended malt bringing together six exceptional whiskies from Lowland, Speyside and Highland distilleries. Each of them matured entirely in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks before being hand-selected by Ardgowan’s Master Whisky Maker, Max McFarlane.
This release is a blend of six single malts from the Lowland, Speyside and Highland regions. A total of 500 cartons were produced, representing 3000 bottles for the global market. The blend consists of whiskies matured in first-fill Oloroso casks and was bottled without chill filtration and without added colouring.

While the Ardgowan Single Malt continues to mature in casks for several more years, whisky maker Laura Davies is crafting the Clydebuilt blended malts with the same care and expertise.
Whiskies matured in the finest quality casks are housed at the Ardgowan distillery, where every stage of their development is closely monitored.
